CAMELOT STYLE SCHOOL

We offer a 5 day intense course from Monday to Friday 9.00 – 16.00.

Topics:

The art of communication

This section of the style school course focuses on honing your verbal communication abilities by refining your speech and diction. Having excellent communication skills is the key to success in any industry, and one of the most important traits of a sophisticated individual. It is also an essential tool for anyone wishing to embark upon a career in the health and beauty sector.

Nail care

It is important for women to take care of their fingernails, as bitten or unkempt nails and cuticles tend to create a negative first impression. Having healthy nails often helps to bolster self-confidence, particularly when one meets new people or has to shake hands in formal greeting. In this chapter of the course, students are taught how to look after their nails in order to ensure that they are always in pristine condition.

Modelling

This module aims to instil in students the importance of a good posture. While this practical section will teach participants how to perform on a modelling ramp (should they wish to pursue such a career), it will also encourage them to be poised at all times, and to carry themselves gracefully – whether strolling down the street or strutting down the catwalk in the latest couture.

Dress for success

Clothing can often leave a lasting impression before one has even opened one’s mouth – particularly if the outfit being worn is inappropriate for the activities in which one is partaking. It is essential to know what type of clothing to wear for different types of occasions, such as job interviews or formal dinners and functions. This section is dedicated to important wardrobe advice, as well as tips to remember for everyday and formal attire.

Accessorising

As any woman knows, accessories can make or break an outfit, especially when you’re dressed in formal attire. Learning how to accessorise correctly for each item of clothing and social event will enable you to enhance your looks and the overall impression of your outfit. With the right accessories, any items of clothing can be transformed, which means that even older, drab clothes can appear dazzling!

Skin care and sun care

Most premature ageing is caused by exposure to the sun, and this part of the course demonstrates to students the importance of taking care of their skin from a young age. It is vital to be aware of the damage caused by the sun, and to know how to protect yourself against harsh UVA and UVB rays. You’ll also learn how to take care of your day-to-day facial and body care needs.

Make up

Many women wear make up on a daily basis, and the key to achieving a sophisticated look is knowing how to apply it correctly. A professionally made-up look is an essential part of overall presentation, and in this section of the Camelot Education Style School course we show students how to apply and blend their make up expertly. Participants will also discover how to select the right colours and hues to compliment their skin tones.

Etiquette (modern manners)

Although etiquette may have changed over the decades, it remains an important part of a woman’s deportment. Our etiquette module will teach students the correct type of behaviours for a variety of social settings and circumstances. This will enable them to feel comfortable and relaxed at any formal gathering or interview, while always maintaining the appropriate decorum for the event.

Hair care
Every woman’s crowning glory! During this section of the course, students will learn how to look after their hair in order to keep it strong, glossy and full of body – be it long, short, frizzy or flat. Participants will also be given important hints and tips for taking care of different types of hair, and various hair care facts and products will be discussed.
